These are my first experiments with the watercolors Jon gave me for Christmas.I was hoping to channel some of my dad's painting skills but working with watercolors was a bit harder than I was hoping it would be. I think with a few more weekends I can figure out what colors I want all the characters to have and then focus on how exactly to go about painting them.

I think those look awesome so far! The mottled coloring on the little monster kind of give him texture and character. I like the coloring on the upper left one the most. The girl monster on the right is cute too! Keep it up!!!
